FOR STEVE BUSCEMI-DIRECTED
“AMERICAN EXPRESS UNSTAGED” PERFORMANCE
NYC natives Vampire
Weekend celebrated the upcoming release of their Modern Vampires Of
The City album last night at the Roseland Ballroom in Manhattan. The entire show was

Not only did Buscemi direct the live broadcast, but he also guested with Vampire Weekend
on "A-Punk." Over the course of the shows 19 songs, VW offered a fairly equal mix of
material from their three studio albums with seven songs off their debut LP, six songs
from 2010's Contra and five tunes off Modern Vampires Of The City. The
Modern Vampires Of The City track "Obvious Bicycle" saw its live debut last night.

Here's "Everlasting Arms," another new song performed by VW last night.
Finally, YouTube will be streaming a loop of the whole show for a while.
