Keller Williams: New Album 12

KELLER WILLIAMS RELEASES HIS NEW ALBUM, 12
ON DECEMBER 18, 2007
KELLER WILLIAMS AND THE WMD'S EMBARK ON AN EAST COAST FALL TOUR
FEATURING KELLER, KEITH MOSELEY, GIBB DROLL AND JEFF SIPE

Keller Williams
Keller Williams has been called guitar's mad-scientist, a one-man band for the new millennium, and dozens of other clever sobriquets dreamed up by fans and music journalists trying to get a handle on his uplifting and ever-shifting style of music. Though Keller's music has evolved since he first started playing music over twenty years ago, some things have remained constant: Keller is a prolific artist, an exceptional guitarist, and an accomplished songwriter. Now, Keller's twelfth album release looks back at a ground-breaking and already remarkable career. Aptly titled 12, the album features one standout song from each of his previous eleven releases. Keller himself dubs this his album of "hitless greatest hits." Added to the mix is one new, previously un-recorded song. While the Keller Williams adventure has only just begun, 12 is a fantastic celebration of a musical milestone. Look for 12 in stores on December 18, 2007 on SCI Fidelity Records.

Also this fall, Keller Williams & the WMD's will tour the east coast. The WMD'S features Williams on guitar/vocals, Keith Moseley on bass (The String Cheese Incident), Gibb Droll on guitar (Marc Broussard), and Jeff Sipe on drums (Aquarium Rescue Unit, Trey Anastasio, Susan Tedeschi, Phil Lesh). The WMD'S debuted at select festival performances this past summer, including an epic and electrifying Bonnaroo show. Their November run of shows brings them to indoor venues for headlining shows.

So is he going to re-record these songs or is this just a collection of the original tunes?

I like Keller, but the fact of little Midwest love is kinda steerin me away from this tour...I allready saw him in Indy,Chillicothe, and Camden New Jersey this year...so im gonna be the asshole who says"Pass on this one"...I am however pumped for the new cd thats to be released a day after my 21st birthday...

I caught Keller and the WMD's at Summercamp this year and wasn't blown away by any means. It was a good time though I'd catch them again if they came around. I will say that Gibb probably caught my attention more than Keller. The man is outstanding on the guitar.

yeah, on 12/28, it's the Beacon Theatre with Gov't Mule, not Moe. Jambase needs a fact checker before they post.

Keller and the Keels has been my absolute favorite of any Keller rendition. If that ever comes to your town, run, don't walk to that show. It really emphasizes his musical abilities and there was not of the looping or mixing, which after a while gets a little tired when he has to "build" every song.

I'm sorry,... my left hand went to sleep.... That should have been, "none of the looping or mixing....."

Keller does need a album out with all new stuff. Sorry keller, the WMD is a poor side project, dream wasn't a knock out and this new album is not screaming break-through. Thats what we have come to expect, we want the funk.
