Hip-Hop Live
Rakim, Ghostface Killah and Brother Ali
Combine Lyricism and Live Music
With a Groundbreaking National Tour

Ghostface Killah
HIP HOP LIVE! will kick off its first annual tour at the House of Blues in Los Angeles on October 29, 2007. Presented by Flow TV and Dodge, and produced by The Agency Group, the traveling collaboration looks to go where no hip-hop tour has gone before - showcasing the games top wordsmiths backed by an incredible 10-piece live band. Celebrating the progression and possibilities embraced by hip-hop culture, the legendary Rakim; Wu-Tang's finest, Ghostface Killah; and Rhymesayers Entertainment's, Brother Ali will cross the nation bringing the show to life with new songs and infectious renditions of the classics you know and love - each energized by the amazing Rhythm Roots Allstars.

After running through 19 U.S. cities, the tour will end up in Philadelphia on November 21. Tickets are on sale nationally. The tour's reputation is colossal from the jump, featuring some of the greatest rappers working today: Ghostface Killah, still enjoying the success of last year's critically acclaimed Fishscale; Rakim, the God MC, offering historic tracks and the worlds first glimpse of new material from both his forthcoming Live DVD and highly anticipated new album The Seventh Seal; and Brother Ali, a Minneapolis rapper whose recent release The Undisputed Truth could possibly re-weave hip-hop's legacy.

The Allstars are, as the name aptly identifies them, are a tremendous collection of the industry's top musicians, and they're thrilled to be part of the Hip-Hop Live Tour. "It's an honor to be backing up some of hip-hop's most legendary mc's," they say. "We played with Rakim and Ghostface at South By Southwest this year and it was an amazing experience." This collective has performed/recorded with such superstars as Black Eyed Peas, Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Outkast, and more.

Ghostface, catch the blast of a hype verse

My glock bursts, leave in a hearse, I did worse

I come rough, tough like an elephant tusk

Ya head rush, fly like Egyptian musk

Aw shit, Wu-Tang Clan spark the wicks an'

However, I master the trick just like Nixon

Causin terror, quick damage ya whole era

Hardrocks is locked the fuck up, or found shot

P.L.O. style, hazardous, cause I wreck this dangerous

I blow sparks like Waco, Texas

Anybody know what happenned to Raekwon the Chef? With all the touring Ghostface is doing, you'd think the "Rae & A" combo would be performing. Only Built for Cuban Links was a tight ass album!
