A little late on the draw Jambase, but that's all right. I am looking forward to the new album very much. There's just something so wholesome about this band, and Sam Beam , in particular. The way he captures his imagery and harnesses that emotion is really quite incredible. A real poet. See y'all at the Orpheum.

Ive only heard abit of the new one, but its really good, its more poppy but in a good way, just in the song structure, instead of slower folky songs, its higher paced folky blues sorta, like i said only heard some of it once, but i feel all his other works have one sound, and this one is definitely different, ENJOY

To see this band live is such a wonderous and magical experience. They often change up some songs to have a folk dance beat(that was BAD description I know.) I have been yurning to see them once again.

I'm gonna go get the new album right now! Saw them in Michigan a few years back with Calexico, gonna see if I can catch them in Colorado this year. It was a great show, and the songs I've heard from this album sound wonderful.
