Boston Calling: The National, Fun., The Shins, Of Monsters & Men


In what is an exciting and major addition to Boston’s music scene, Crash Line Productions, in partnership with Bowery Presents, announces Boston Calling, the very first two-day music festival to take place in Boston proper. The festival will be held on Memorial Day weekend, Saturday May 25 and Sunday May 26 at the city’s historic City Hall Plaza [One City Hall Square, Boston, Massachusetts]. Tickets will go on sale Friday March 1, 2013 at 10AM EST at,, and with no service fee at The Sinclair box office (52 Church St, Cambridge MA).

Boston Calling will bring a heavy-hitting line-up to its two stages. The festival is headlined by The National, which is set to release a new LP later this year, and Fun., 2013 Grammy winners for Best New Artist and Song of the Year “We Are Young.” Legends and newcomers alike, in genres ranging from indie folk and pop to American rock will perform at Boston Calling. A few highlights include The Shins, Of Monsters and Men, Young the Giant, Andrew Bird, Marina and The Diamonds, Matt & Kim, The Walkmen, Youth Lagoon, Portugal. The Man, and Cults.
