Greensky Bluegrass Tour/NYE

GREENSKY BLUEGRASS ANNOUNCES WEST COAST TOUR
LIVE AT BELL'S & NYE IN KZOO!

Greensky Bluegrass
Michigan based acoustic quartet, Greensky Bluegrass, have announced their plans through the end of 2007. Starting with a tour of the Western U.S. (October 24 - November 16) with highlights including stops at Las Tortugas Dance of the Dead in Yosemite Nat'l Park on 10/27 and 10/28 as well as GSBG's second annual 3 set Halloween show in Arcata, CA.

The boys from Kalamazoo also announced that they will be releasing Live at Bell's, their first live album, on 11/21 (Thanksgiving Eve) with CD release shows at Ann Arbor, MI's Blind Pig and their hometown haunt, and album's namesake, Bell's Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo, MI on 11/23. The disc's 14 tracks were culled from two separate performances this summer at the venue's fabled outdoor Beer Garden, both shows engineered by Railroad Earth's Mike Partridge.

To top the year off the band will return to Kalamazoo's historic State Theater for the second installment in their annual New Year's Eve Celebration with dear friends and fellow Michganders Steppin In It, Seth Bernard, and Daisy May. Tickets go on sale 9/25 through Ticketmaster.

Enjoyed seeing these guys out in Telluride this past summer & am looking forward to hearing the new Live At Bells release. The Bells beer garden is one of the best spots to be over the summmer, especially when the Oberon & 2 Hearted Ales are flowing! Now if we could only get it back in Chi town....

Big ups on the Oberon and Two Hearted. I couldn't agree more. Michigan isn't the greatest place for entertainment but Kzoo is a fun town. All you West coasters, show Greensky some love!

I love seeing people giving GSBG some love. They are a truely incredible band, definatley worth seeing.

I reside in the ever so lovely Kalamazoo. Only really its not that lovely. We do have Bell's and a somewhat small scene goin on though, so I am more than grateful for that. Two Hearted Ale is the best IPA in the country, period. Obe's are awesome, and the Expedition Stout is incredible!

Peace and Love to all.

I'll agree that GSBG is an incredible band.

I'll agree that GSBG deserve the national attention they're getting.

I'll agree that Bells is the best micro in the land.

But I disagree that Two Hearted is better than Stone IPA.

see ya in Yosemite
