I saw the last two nights of the Chi-town stand this tour and if the rest of the summer shows are anything like those shows I'd want to hear this for sure. I'm loving the faries wear red boots cover, and that was an awesome ride me high on the third night in the Chi.

it's "fairies wear boots", there's no "red" in the title. it's a black sabbath cover. i just wanted to clarify that. this live complation is going to be good. jimmy herring rocks. no disrespect to houser, but if wsp wants to keep evolving, it's great they are putting out new shows and not living in the past. rock on

yall are both right, they do need to move forward but damn this has been up long enough were they need to put up some old houser shows, the tapers have put up some great boards even mixed ones, but nothing sounds like the masters mastered/mixed on their equiptment, the shows on that site are crystal clear. it sounds like they are trying to sell more, i think they would if they lowered the price from 15 bucks, that is kind of high, i mean what kind of music junkee buys mp3 anyway??

I just think it's great to finally have some JH material out on release. I have many friends and have heard many people on this website say that they don't know what they sound like with Jimmy. I'll tell you what they sound like: Friggin WP with a Hendrix-like guitar player just blasting them into another dimension, which they so sorely needed. he has upped the ante as far as the level of playing of the entire band. These guys are the shit right now. No disrespect to MH, but they sound amazing

hendrix did not play that damn fast. usually.

listen to country blues on the hendrix box set.

that aside as my stupid opinion, I am going to see the chattanooga show before halloween, after this one, I will fade into obscurity more than likely.

To answer to time off in 08 would be no. Jimmy Herring is a contract quitarist and will be playing with Panic for the next 3 years. I "think" after that panic will call it quits. I mean Jimmy is awesome and I don't think anyone would be able to fill his shoes.

so is it a cd w/ artwork like you would get in the store or just a burnt cd of the flac quality?

I am fully aware there is Houser shows over the internet...I have many. I just would love for to realease an archive series of houser era. Its not too much to ask. I can listen to all the last tour all i want from Yea its a great starter Cd for people getting into the band and new to jimmy, but the last thing I want is a comp cd of the last tour. I could have made this cd in an hour. I just want great quality shows from the man himself, and I know many others do too.

And the new cd with jimmy is being released late this fall.

see you all in Seattle>missoula

I agree with Filo that Panic should release all of their live shows (in stores I assume.) The site is great for many if not all of them. As far as Jimmy Herring is concerned. WOW. He is great at what he does. There are a few songs in the catalog he doesn't get just right but all in all... As for Houser. They may wait, despite our desires, until they break up to release that stuff as to give "new" fans an idea of what they will hear while experiencing live Panic. Just my thoughts, peace.
