BLACK FRANCIS CONFIRMS WINTER DATES

Black Francis, frontman for legendary college rockers The Pixies, has announced plans to embark on a Winter tour. The two-week run will begin on February 8 in Hudson, New York and wrap on February 22 in Bordenton, New Jersey, with performances scheduled in Ithaca, Nashville, Asheville, Chapel Hill, and more. All shows will feature opener Reid Paley. Check out all the dates below.
Black Francis is the stage name contrived by and for Charles Thompson during his residency in The Pixies, a period that ran from the group's formation in Boston during 1986 until 1993 when the group split up. Thompson's next show business identity was as Frank Black. Thompson released many albums under his Frank Black moniker, but returned to the Black Francis name for 2007's Bluefinger.
