The String Cheese Incident Memorabilia
Featured in On-Line Charity Auction

The String Cheese Incident
Hot on the heels of The String Cheese Incident's Summer Tour 2007, The Mimi Fishman Foundation announces its latest charity auction installment, this time dubbed 'The Mimi Fishman Foundation Auction Incident.'

The auction features a wide and impressive assortment of SCI memorabilia, with a large focus on the final SCI run that took place at the Red Rocks amphitheater in early August, 2007. Rare items include stage setlists from the final shows, a signed commemorative Red Rocks ticket, Michael Kang's and Billy Nershi's actual stage carpets, guitar strings used at Red Rocks, Scramble Campbell's artwork created at Red Rocks, and much more!

The auction is a benefit for the Delta Gamma Center for Children With Visual Impairments. Since its inception in 1999, the Mimi Fishman Foundation - with help from friends such as The String Cheese Incident and Madison House (SCI's management company) - has raised nearly $50,000 for the Delta Gamma Center.

"The first three years of a child's life is a critical period in their development. For children who are blind or visually impaired - often with other disabilities - this time is even more critical for addressing their specialized learning needs. Music therapy makes a huge difference for children ages 3 months to 3 years, as well as their parents. The Mimi Fishman Foundation generously sponsors our music therapy program and their donations are key in building the program into such an important service our Center offers the children," says Rene DeFiore, the Center's Development Director.

Will it Go 'Round in Circles has been in SCI's repetoire for awhile, it wasn't recently added. Boogie On is a classic also, just because Phish covered it doesn't mean they are the only ones who are allowed. SCI did it much better anyway.

At least it's for a charitable cause. When I saw the title of the article I figured it was Nershi trying to make a money grab. Glad to see them doing another benifit based event. Especially because they won't be playing any music.

I love SCI.... If they need a break so be it. They work their asses off for us. I've been a loyal fan since 1998 when I discovered that they gave me the closest feeling to when I used to see GD all of the time. I'll contnue to be for years to come no matter what. Keep the peace and be grateful and respectful to one another.

"Bill Nershi's actual stage carpet". He probably got it from Wal Mart for $50, and its goanna fetch $2K at an auction. Kang looks like he has a couch spring up his butt.

Where is the love from you all, this is charity through fan love, not greedy take advantage of the fans and sell all things related to us like OJ. I'm not feeling the normal cheese vibes from the most of you.

I'm taking advantage of this time with EOTO, Zilla, Honkytonk Homeslice, and if I get to see Drew Emmit with Nershi, to see SCI come back HUGE and HARD later, I will be cool with that.
