CONFIRMS EXTENSIVE U.S. TOUR IN SUPPORT OF NEW ALBUM REMEMBER THE SUN

Today (8/31) marks the beginning of rising singer-songwriter Pieta Brown's most extensive U.S. tour to date, leading up to the September 25 release of her brilliant new album Remember The Sun (One Little Indian Records). Released earlier this summer in the U.K., the album prompted rave reviews from The BBC, Q, and Uncut among others, and AllMusic.com recently noted that "Pieta Brown paints a big picture with tiny, beautiful strokes on her deeply introspective set, Remember The Sun."
Pieta will play solo or as a duo for the tour - a mix of headlining dates, festivals, and support shows - which will find her playing NYC on September 14 opening for Teddy Thompson at the Bowery Ballroom. Additional dates will be announced soon. See below for a full itinerary.
