Black Angles Tour with QOTSA

Black Angels Tour with Queens Of the Stone Age

The Black Angels
Austin's psych-rock, drone-heavy Black Angels will be joining the Queens of the Stone Age on their current tour for 10 dates, starting in Boston on October 12.

Ever since dropping their debut Passover in 2006, it's been quite a ride for the Angels. The six-piece band performed favorable slots at SXSW, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and Sasquatch!, and were handpicked by Billy Corgan to open for the Smashing Pumpkins for two nights at The Fillmore in San Francisco. The Angels also recently finished an international tour with Black Rebel Motorcycle Club.

It is definitely worth it. QOTSA are a great live band, and the Black Angels are pretty good, too. I'm hoping they'll add a Denver date to this tour.
