These kids really rock! It's a shame this article talks about MTV b/c it doesn't do them justice. They're multi-talented with powerful vocals and a random mix of musical styles. They were my favorite show at Bonnaroo this year, by far!

It's a shame they're not coming to the Southeast, but the rest of you folks should check them out!

I knew their name but never got to check them out before seeing their set at Broo (online) and really dug it. Few weeks later they are using them on the credits of Entourage. Good work fellas.

I won't hate for someone getting airplay other than JamOn.

Fuck Yes!!!! my only regret of B-roo was missing this band. if you dont have their album pick it up. alot of there songs have them banging on random shit or other crazy stuff like that.

Cold War Kids are great. I really like Robbers and Cowards and they put on a great live show. I will be there for the Boulder Theater show. Congrats to them on making it to #1 somehow, but it seems to me that reaching #1 on MTV these days would be equivalent to reaching #1 on CBS, because neither channel plays music videos.

is it me, or are there more articles on this band than any other band here recently on this site - not hating - just pointing out a fact.

I saw both the White Stripes and Cold War Kids at Bonnaroo, and I thought Cold War Kids were MUCH better than the Stripes. MUCH MUCH BETTER! I can't believe not one Southeast show. :(

Too bad ya'll missed em in Nashville at Mercy Lounge, which "seats" about 500. They really do put on a great live show! Saw the Stripes at the Cannery (about 1200 i think) next door a few months later and it was great...probably the smallest venue they'll ever play. No comparisons, just 2 really down and dirty bluesy bands.
