I think they just referred to themselves as "amazing talent". Thats modest. I've never heard Bela, Zappa, Wooten or Cinninger refer to themselves as amazing talent in a public announcement about another band; and those guys are pretty much deities of music.

What is Suckapunch? Supergroup?

When i think of a super group, I imagine Jimmy Page and Dwayne Allman jamming with Jaco Pastorius and Neil Peart or something; not one half of Bisco and some random guy I've never heard of before jamming and experimenting with each other.

If Suckapunch is a supergroup what does that make Bisco?

danwonsover, your negativity really saddens me. This is going to be the sickest weekend in NY, and an experimental group like this should be something to look forward to, not bash before you've even heard it.

Everyone posting here wants to see Jimmy Page get up on stage with Robert Plant, backed up by Les Claypool and Stewart Copeland. And then in the same fantasy, Phish would jump on stage for a sick superjam. But we all know that will never, ever, ever happen.

But just a few days from now, Simon Posford is taking the stage to create music we have never heard before. It might be mediocre, but given the caliber of musicians, this is something I need to catch. Since none of us have the omnipresent power to look into the future and tell if that next set is going to be 90 minutes of garbage or the greatest night of our lives, keep an open mind and GO SEE LIVE MUSIC.

I really didn't intend to offend. Hope to see you at the camp, buddy. Look for me. I'll be front and center for Infected Mushroom in a pair of white UFO pants.

have fun at the dirtiest scumbag festival of the year, the Bays were on eof the very few only legit bands on the bill too. I love Bisco, but common, this festival ya'll hafta admit is going to be so dirty and scummy...it's all electronic and DJ's for 3 days, what do you expect?

the bisco scene is sketchy, but for some reason i like some of the sketchiness. Last time i saw bisco, i had a great time, I jus hate all the rollin and what not that goes on every time u see them.

AMON TOBIN is going to own this fest. Just you wait and see.

There's no need to trash the biscuits. Alot of kids are too obsessed, but that's pretty obvious. Some of their fans are too much. I pretty much expect the scene to be pretty dirty, the needles and shit. But I get to see music I normally wouldn't give a chance, so it's cool. Shame Lotus or the Duo (playing Duo stuff) aren't there. Hope for some Solstice and/or Gamma Goblins, that bassline is fahking sick

im not jumping on the "negative" bus, but BISCO really still doesnt do it for me... after seein them 4 times waiting to see if they would bring "the heat" I realize that "the heat" is brought by those consuming large doses of X, and most of these individuals also wear their collar popped (you know who im talking about)... anyway the point is that electronic jambands like BISCO will soon see their end along with their scummy-fratastic fans.

the biscuits get down and dirty,sometimes i get sick of the flowery shit some jambands put down and need something a little heavier.i like to thrown my old bones around with the raver kids sometimes,they have a real quality about them.throw down some danceable beats and watch them get all sweaty,it's fun.open your minds.

Scifreak and danwonsover, you both make me sick. You should probably think before you speak. If you can't enjoy music because of fans, well then you are a piece of you know what. When I went to 10klf a few weeks ago, the most ridiculous and out of control fans were by far the CHEESE fans. If the music is over your heads, just admit it, its ok. But stay away from the fans, you are just pissing us off and probably making it MORE likely that the things you complain about keep happening. I don't see how complaining about Bisco makes tour heads any less desperate to steal your shit. They must be doing something right if normal Johnnie and Susies from Normalville, USA, want to go watch them and get spun. I don't know this frat, popped collar scene you are talking about. Maybe its because I WATCH THE BAND AND NOT THE AUDIENCE. Broaden your horizons or lose the negativity, unless you really do think you are better than everyone here, which is a posibility.

i love bisco, but this is a great festival without even mentioning that bisco is playing...STS9, Umphreys, Zilla,and anything simon posford touches. stop wasting your time trying to convince bisco fans on bisco threads that they suck. new originals are going to be sick, velmer is one of the best drummers out there

gmoo, its ridiculous to say that an audience cant have an effect on a show. the bisco crowd is the most disgusting display of human waste that exists (for the most part). Back in the wetlands days, the biscuits really impressed and turned heads. Now the shows are average at best and the members of the band annoy people with their egos. Im sure you're just one of those e popping crackheads.

Its a shame, i like the concept of the band and a lot of their material. The last show i attended was their 10th anniversary show in Asbury, after seeing those scumbag fans, i could never go back.

IF you dont like the Disco Biscuits, Don't go to Camp Bisco!! Moe. down is another great lineup the same weekend. Thats where all the "real hippy" bands will be right?
