As noted on Cat Power's MySpace Page, Chan Marshall is currently working on a new album.
Marshall will be mixing the record next week in Dallas with Stuart Sikes. The record is slated to come out in January and will be a covers record titled, Covers Record 2. Tour dates will be announced in support of the album soon. The LP is the follow-up to her 2006 smash hit The Greatest.
