Summer 2007 Tour Dates For EOTO

EOTO
EOTO is proud to announce the continuation of their summer 2007 shows. Michael Travis (String Cheese Incident) and Jason Hann (String Cheese Incident; Isaac Hayes; Loreena McKinnett) will be bringing their dance-rock duo to venues nationwide in the next few weeks. The first show is July 13 at B.B. King's in New York City immediately following the sold out String Cheese Incident show at the Beacon Theatre. After New York, EOTO will next surface in Utah, Nevada, Los Angeles CA, and then another after-party in Berkeley CA at Blake's on Telegraph immediately after the Saturday Greek Theatre SCI show. Following the California shows, EOTO will travel across the Northwest on select dates towards String Cheese Incident's Big Summer Classic at Camp Zoe in Salem MO. EOTO will head back to New York in August for Camp Bisco where they will join other national and international electronica bands and DJs such as The Disco Biscuits, Umphrey's McGee, Sound Tribe Sector Nine, Zilla, Infected Mushroom and many more.

The House/Breakbeat/Trip-Hop style of EOTO is currently available on their debut album Elephants Only Talk Occasionally.

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooo lactose intolerant. And now every band has a trip/techno/bisco ripoff side project. Enough already. Can't people just play instruments anymore.

SCI is a bluegrass band playing mostly covers and these guys think they are the next Ben/Russo. Stick to your picking fellows and stay in Colorado.

If you are still reading this and didn;t just hit the thumb down then I'll reward you with telling you this entire post came from absolute boredom at work and is completely tongue in cheek. I never understood how a band that seemed very mellow and laid back could bring about such hatred on jambase posts. Just figured I'd take the wind out of those deuches sails.

my boy at high sierra said these guys were redic

that being said, i agree with bo that the techno thing is gettin stale. so many groups have jumped on the jamtronic bandwagon, i mean we got all these bands playing at least some techno - sci, um, tdb, sts9, new deal, lotus...the list goes on. up and coming bands should take note and realize that although the seemingly endless supply of moli will keep the kids dancing, and tho most people dont want to admit it, this scene is ready for something new. dont get me wrong, the music is fun, i just think its better as a part of a show, not for a whole set or 2 sets. long live rock and roll!

unless of course its a latenight technoparty orgy...god i love those

Saw these guys at stubbs in Austin. Cant believe that RAQ was the closing act (at stubbs what would normally be the opening act is the closing act). RAQ killed and these guys were well, ok background music while I waited for the band I went to see. NUFF SAID!

i'm very disappointed i missed the chicago show a couple months ago =(

and i don't mind this "jamtronic" stuff. i've never done molly (or whatever the hell you call it) but if the music's bumpin, i''ll try dancing to it... who wouldn't?

I just saw these guys last weekend at Fat Fest 2007 in Wabasha, MN. How can you not like what they do? 100% improvised, no breaks, and they provide the groove for the ultimate dance party! I can't wait to see them again.

EOTO brings it everytime-they successfully melted my face in Idaho last spring, and it was cool to meet the guys.

Nothing but a dance dance dance party! If a super fun dance party scares you-then you'll need to stay away from these shows

If you see these guys live they are totally doing something different than the usual electronic band. Travis plays many instruments/gadgets including guitar, bass, percussion, keyboards, and computers while creating loops and mixing all the sound. Jason plays drums non stop from the beggining of the show until the end without any breaks in between songs/jams. Can't wait for EOTO to come to Los Angeles!

Great BAND! I have seen them several times. Guess what?! They are playing instruments! I might not totally understand what is going on, but last spring in Idaho they brought the heat at the spring freak!

the trance and electronica music is most definitely being played too much. i caught sci's last beacon date, and i was rather dissapointed with how much they were using their laptops. close the laptops and play your instruments for the love of god!!!
