 Great American Taxi |
Vince Herman and his touring juggernaut Great American Taxi are heading out for another two weeks on the highways and biways, this time heading out west to support their debut release Streets of Gold.
Taxi made a brief stop at the Telluride Bluegrass Festival to play a Nightgrass slot over the weekend. From there they are hooking up with Telluride cohort John Cowan and his band to play three shows in Salt Lake City, UT, Boise, ID, and Spokane, WA. Taxi makes a stop in Bend, OR to play a free outdoor concert series at the Les Schwab Amphitheater before heading down into California for a few special intimate shows leading up to playing two sets at the High Sierra Music Festival. The band will open festivities on the main stage kicking off the festival at 2 p.m. on Thursday and will also be offering up a set at the Shady Grove stage on Friday afternoon as well.
Great American Taxi just got home from the Midwest where they spent three weeks spinning their wheels at Summer Camp, Wakarusa, the Appalachian Uprising and many other corn fueled stops along the way. Taxi will spend most of July around Colorado and surrounding areas.
