PGroove is free! So Drive By Truckers not worth seeing? Wow, milesgone you must have a very narrow scope of good music. Dead Confederate is badass too. Only money is for the club crawl.

$15 bucks is nothing, and although I like P Groove, I like the Drive By Truckers much much more--great singing, lyrics, kickass rock show overall. 2 great and very different bands from the Southeast, if I lived in GA I would definitely be there

$15 is awesome. it costs more than $15 to see the truckers alone. sure as hell is worth it though

I think the three headlining bands are perfect for Athfest. Each are completely their own band, and I think well represent the diversity of the music scene in Athens!

Mr. Miles Gone, I must admit we have extremely similar musical taste. Still, not a fest to miss.

DeadStickLanding

For those of you with the club crawl wristbands, check out Dead Stick Landing, an eclectic rock trio whose sound, which revolves around hook-laden rock while incorporating progressive elements, genre-crossing, and improvisation, is influenced by 90's alternative (311, Ween, Primus, RHCP), classic rock (Jimi Hendrix, Rush, Frank Zappa, The Police, Talking Heads), and progressive jamrock (UM, phish)
