Looks like an East Coast romp. Although, that High Sierra line up looks pretty funckin' rediculous.

Unbelievable group...Caught them in Chicago at the end of last year with 56 Hope Road. One of the most perfect nights of music I've seen. That was the first time I saw RMB and have been fortunate to catch them twice since. Great songwriting and musicianship. Catch you guys soon.

Have fun at High Sierra.

If the album doesn't grab ya, well then, it doesn't grab ya. But if there's one thing I love about this band it's just how much fun there live shows can be. If anyone really wants to give them a chance without ever even leaving the house, might a suggest giving a listen to this show back on 12.30.06... a band & fan favorite alike. Ultimately though, I would always recommend taking in a live show above all else, just not waiting 2 years to do it. These guys are just too good. See 'em while they're still playing the small venues cuz there's just no way that's gonna be an option for much longer.

Not only immensely talented, but also a truly nice bunch of guys. Strangers Helping Strangers has been honored to have worked with Ryan and his band on a number of occasions. We love them...

Glad to see these guys getting bigger. I love 'em, and would love the chance to see 'em live. Sadly, I live in a mythical land called Albuquerque where some rock and roll musicians fear to tread for some reason (hello? moe., New Monsoon, Umphrey's McGee, AOD? Anybody there?)
Anyway, please allow me to bore you with a brief history of my relationship with the music of Ryan Montbleau:
First, I heard him on the Endless Boudaries Podcast and was blown away by his voice and lyrics:

Then, while listening to a show by another one of my favorites, The Assembly of Dust, I came across this gem:
http://www.archive.org/download/aod2004-12-31.flac16/aod2004-12-31.d1t06_64kb.mp3
And that was it; I was hooked. I started looking for everything I could find offa archive.org. While listening to this recent post, featuring a new and beautiful "75 and Sunny":

I swear, I looked in my living room expecting to see him sitting on my couch. Not because the sound quality is good (it's good, but not great), but because of his conversational singing style and lyrics. Really, sometimes listening to Ryan sing is just like having a conversation with an old friend. I know, it sounds crazy 'cuz I've never even seen the guy and I've only been listening for a few months...
The moral of the story is: check out the live stuff. If you haven't, you're missing out on some great music!
