In support of Tuesday Letter, appearing with
Railroad Earth, Wayword Sons, Drew Emmitt and many more
 Greensky Bluegrass |
Greensky Bluegrass is hitting the road this summer with a flurry of dates across the U.S. including co-bills and support slots with such contemporaries as: Railroad Earth (7/10-12), Wayword Sons (6/14-15, 18) and Drew Emmitt of Leftover Salmon (6/16).
GSBG are the winners of the 2006 Telluride Bluegrass Festival Band Competition and have been gaining national recognition with the release of their sophomore album Tuesday Letter, produced by Tim Carbone (Railroad Earth) and nearly constant touring to support it.
Greensky Bluegrass is taking Michigan's blend of acoustic roots music on the road. Performing at festivals, theaters, bars, and listening rooms all over the U.S., their rare traditional sound has quickly spread to a national audience. Over six years of live performance and the release of Less Than Supper (2004) and Tuesday Letter (2006) have established GSBG as one of the hardest working independent quartets in the jamgrass community.
Greensky Bluegrass is:
Michael Arlen Bont, banjo
Dave Bruzza, guitar
Michael Devol, upright bass
Paul Hoffman, mandolin
