Featured talent to include:

August 18: Boston @ Tweeter Center of Performing Arts (Great Woods) with: Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade, Band of Horses, Neko Case and more.

August 25: Washington State @ The Gorge with: Modest Mouse, Incubus, The Thermals, Arthur & Yu, The Heavenly States, Back Door Slam, Nada Surf and more.

September 2: Chicago @ Alpine Valley with: The Shins, Band of Horses, Wolf Parade, HoneyCut and more.

October 6: San Francisco @ Shoreline Amphitheatre with: The Cure, AFI, Kings of Leon, 65 Days of Static, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and more.

Tickets range in price from $35-$65 and will be available at www.livenation.com and www.downloadfestival.com, and will go on sale June 9 in Washington State, June 16 in Boston, June 23 in Chicago and July 22 in San Francisco.

Should I have heard of any of these bands? I only recognize Wolfmother and the Shins. Not really an indie guy, so which ones are the jambands?

it's close enough to chicago and the biggest venue in the area. i know when the g.d. family reunion was at alpine, they had the chicago radio station there broadcasting live.

i do hear what yall sayin though. people always list the tweeter center as philadelphia on a bands tour itenerary when in fact it's in camden, nj. a town that is quite possibly like that of a bottom of a construction site port-a-potty. then again philly isn't looking to hot these days either. our mayor is mad incompetent, corrupt, and feels that the rising crime rate is business as ususal. i think i wanna move to canada
