Paul McCartney on SNL

After headlining the historic 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy relief and teaming with the former members of Nirvana at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday, Paul McCartney packed up and headed to NBC Studios at 30 Rockefeller Center, to make his fourth appearance as a musical guest on Saturday Night Live. First, Sir Paul teamed with Eagles rocker Joe walsh to perform the song "My Valentine", taken from Paul's standards album Kisses on the Bottom, released earlier this year. After that, Paul re-teamed with Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, and Pat Smear for the Helter Skelter-like sludge of "Cut Me Some Slack", an original composition recorded for Grohl's Sound City documentary.
