I definitely wanna go to this, though I'm not sure I can handle 18 hours of music and dancing!

Attention Jambasers!

I see that Allmighty Senators (that's how you spell it) is playing at this shindig, and I hope they are still able to. The lead singer has recently had some kidney trouble, but is on the recovery. Now he has some medical bills to pay! They have set up paypal account that is accepting donations. (IT'S NOT A SCAM...I PERSONALLY KNOW THE GUYS) Please go to allmightysenators.com to learn how you can help out a beautiful person, as well as one hell of a frontman!

If you've never experienced an AMS show, please know they put out one of the most high-energy, positive performances out there. Rock-n-soul at it's finest.

I went to Starscape last year and had quite an experience. Some of those experiences good, some very bad. We had to get reentry tix because of a horrible storm at which point my wife's tix got wet and disintegrated and we had to pay $50 for another ticket. Then at the end of the night we get back to the car to find that it had been keyed all over the place. Just a fair warning: this show brings out some grimey kids.

On the other hand, the music was good. I was a bit disappointed in some of the dnb dj's last year. I plan on going this year.

Good call on the shout for Landis! My band, Technicolour Brother, is playing at the 8x10 on April 27th and we're donating all of our proceeds from that show to Landis. Let's all wish him a rapid recovery!

Oh, and the Brazilian Girls rock! They're music is club/house music infused with latin, jazz and more. The band lays down dark, heavy, pulsing dance music and their singer (the only female in the group, none of them are Brazilian)has an awesome voice and sings in multiple languages. They're pretty unique.

Actually the stage where it will be at will be the 8th stage. I heard a couple of homeless guys with kazoos will be playing some pretty mean Dead riffs.

i really love the brazilian girls, i have seen them several times and they are much of what you have mentioned. i also think they will be a nice alternative to a lot of what will be there. however, i just don't know if they can take people (or at least myself) to the level that they will want to be on...i am personally excited to see them, i hope they put on a great show and if not there are always other stages :) regardless it is going to be ridiculous, and hopefully the weather will be beautiful this year
