Two Gallants Announce The Scenery of Farewell
Acoustic EP To Be Released in The U.S. June 19 on Saddle Creek

Sasquatch! Festival and European Tour Dates Announced

Two Gallants
After nearly 200 shows in 2006, Two Gallants return with a collection of acoustic-based songs entitled The Scenery of Farewell. Known for their aggressive, electric live shows, Two Gallants have fostered a dual musical personality by occasionally recording and playing songs with a more stripped down sound. Since the bands extensive touring schedule last year left little time for proper rehearsals, most of these songs evolved in such places as sound checks and radio appearances, where it was more conducive for them to be performed. In late January 2007, The Gallants recorded The Scenery of Farewell in San Francisco to 2-inch tape. Produced by Alex Newport, the EP features several San Francisco based musicians making contributions with string instruments including cello, double bass, and violin.

The Scenery of Farewell will be followed by the third Gallants full-length, due out September 2007.

Two Gallants tour dates available here.

in some way though, two gallants gieeting the shit kicked out of them by the cops (even though the cops were totally outta line) kind of lives up to the music they play and the lifestyle they live. i'll bet that these dudes can walk in a bar and find a fight without lookin too far to quote camper van beethoven.
