This sounds amazing, two of my favorite bands putting together their own festival! Too bad I work and can't make it out to Colorado.

I wonder if simon posford is gonna be there. does this replace camp bisco? Maybe they decided that the east coast wasn't working out.

This is bittersweet. It seems like they should find a common place between their collective cities (Chicago and Phili) rather than host this festie far from home in Colorado. Saying that, this should be unbelievable. It's about time this festival took place. These two groups have been blowing this scene up. I'd like to throw STS9 on the top as well, but these groups have simply been jamming harder and playing with more of an attitude than the Tribe as of late. Add Simon Posford, Lotus, and That 1 Guy for good measure.

The best part of this is that it'll keep all the bisco kids from being at all good. many thanks to these guys for staying so far away.

Has anybody actually gotten the trancegression site to load? That page has been blank white since I first tried to load it on Friday, and the Biscuits site has been solid black. Does my computer hate me, or is it the Biscuits I should be suspicious of?

Is skiing possible in the summer? I'd like to have Umphrey's greet me at the bottom of a mountain and melt my cold face in to oblivion.

Innaheights, there's no way this replaces Camp, and they def are not deciding that the east coast is not working out. Camp has seemed to be getting better and better each year, and will always stay in upstate NY.

Don't they have any professional courtesy?

I have no knowledge of the jamband booking/promoting scene, but I'd imagine that it's a small group. Seems like trying to start a new festival the same weekend as an established festival is a dick thing to do - even if it is on the other side of the country.

The inbred banjo kid is still kicking strong. I read something about him last year, I think it was the 25th anniversary of Deliverance, and they found him working in a cafe. The best part is when they finish their jam he looks away, as if totally uninterested. Nice touch. That and the aforementioned Nedly tryst with the toothless, um, gentlemen.

There is only one Camp Bisco and it will be on the East Coast. This is just a way to expand the audience out west. Seems like it will be more of a stay in hotel go see the show kind of thing as opposed to a camp out.

umphreys and biscuits are great but come on braindamaged eggmen is like a allstar cover band

if any of you are in CO now, check out coppers free concerts for the rest of ski season. keller and galactic played saturday....for free. copper has some sick terrain, if you;re into mountains and whatnot
