Amoeba Music To Release TV On The Radio's
In-Store Concert Performance As Their First-Ever Limited Edition EP

Available at all 3 stores and online on March 27th!

TV on the Radio
(Los Angeles, CA) -- Amoeba Music, the world's largest independent music store, is known for its legendary in-store performances. Critically acclaimed New York band TV on the Radio are known for their fantastic live shows. What better way to inaugurate the first-ever release of an Amoeba in-store concert than by releasing a limited-edition EP?

The four-track disc, TV on the Radio Live at Amoeba was recorded at Amoeba's Hollywood location in September of 2006. The songs, "Blues From Down Here," "Wolf Like Me," "Province," and "Wash the Day" are live versions of tracks from their latest album, Return to Cookie Mountain which Spin magazine named "Album of the Year" in 2006.

"We're very excited to share the TV on the Radio live in-store performance with the world. It's a great treat for all the fans and a great introduction for people who haven't experienced a live show at Amoeba" says Amoeba's Kara Lane.

This limited-edition, numbered EP will be available exclusively from all three Amoeba stores, beginning March 27, for 30 days or while supplies last. Each person who buys the EP will receive a limited edition poster. Produced by Chris Moore, the disc will be available beginning March 27 at all three Amoeba locations (and online at www.amoeba.com on Tuesday starting at 12:01 a.m.) for $5.98.

I just saw these guys last night in Seattle. Flat out fucking amazing! 100% Original and soooo powerful. The lead singer had everyone in the audience by the short hairs. He delivers his words like a Southern Black Preacher on Acid.

Return to Cookie Mountain is a good album, seeing these guys live is like a 2 hour Orgasm (seriously folks, these guys are no joke)

I couldn't get out of work for the Portland/Seattle run...sounded like an amazing time from what I hear. I just bought a copy from the website, but it says that they aren't individually numbered.
