Brooklyn, NY (March 21, 2007) – THE HOLD STEADY announces the April 17 release of Live at Fingerprints, a collection of five acoustic tracks the band recorded last October at an exclusive in-store appearance at Fingerprints independent record store in Long Beach, CA. The EP will be priced at $4.98 and is a very limited release - when it's gone, it's gone. The Hold Steady is currently wrapping up a three-week tour of the U.S. and will be heading to the U.K. in mid-April for the second time this year. The band will continue to tour the U.S. throughout the summer and fall of 2007 including two previously announced festival appearances.
The Hold Steady is scheduled to perform on the Sasquatch! Music Festival's main stage on Saturday, May 26 in Central Washington and the band will also be appearing at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, June 16 in Manchester, TN.
