I went to college with this woman. She's pretty good, but Fiona Apple is better. One time I saw her doing the walk of shame.

If her concerts are any indication... she's doing the walk of shame every time she gets off stage...

This is what talent is nowadays?

She was more worried about her hair bun (which I like) falling out of place. The sound? Yes, understood. How about the dazed look, the 1/2 assed shimmy routine, the feign interest in what is going, etc... You can take her or leave her, I don't care. She has all the appearences of Joss Stone II. I wonder if Winehouse sleeps with producers to get tracks as well?

This chick bailed out of her show at Spaceland in the Silverlake area of Los Angeles last night. Complete no-show, with no expanation to the club or to the paying customers watitng to see & hear her perform. And I thought she had no class BEFORE that...why is she news on JamBase?

Hey Frazier... not showing up to her own shows is a habit of hers...

WINEHOUSE, SOUSED In early March, Winehouse abruptly canceled two big London gigs. Though the shows were officially nixed due to "unforeseen circumstances," Winehouse says it was because she'd fallen down drunk. "I broke a big tooth," she says. "I had a massive gap in the front of my mouth." It's one of Winehouse's many alcohol-induced lapses. In January, in New York, she tore up her left arm after a drunken spill. That month, she also vomited midsong during a club gig in London. And during a visit to the U.K.'s Charlotte Church Show, she boozily stammered her way through a televised version of "Beat It." (Watch the clip on YouTube.) She is unapologetic about her taste for alcohol, but she hopes that a breakthrough record in the States will keep her busy enough to lay off the bottle. "I love going on tour more than anything else," says Winehouse. "It keeps me off the streets." AUSTIN SCAGGS

I think Joss Stone has a better vocal range.

It's new on JamBase because we think her album is fucking great. It does suck that she's such a heavy drinker that she bails on shows... she's a freak, she drinks heavy and I'm glad we don't have to book/mgr her. But lets be real, she is far from the first musician to have issues. If you don't want to read it no one is forcing you to. Thanks, play nice now...

Kayce - See, I'm so skeptical about albums. You could pro-tool my voice to sound like Marvin Gaye. Her band sounds tight, I will have to say. But, nah, too many good musicians in this world for me to pay attention to a drunk brat that is basking in undeserved praise and bails on audiences.

What's more rock n' roll than falling off stage drunk? I'd definately go check this chick out, not just because I'm obsessed with her video, but now I know there might be a slim possibility I'd have a shot at her. She'll be at Schubas in Chi, Kayceman you want a review consider it done.

Thats great that everyone loves the album Kayceman -

I am well aware that I don't have to read these articles. However, I am sitting on the edge of my seat for the type I go to jambase.com and it has had a complete makeover with equally the same number of acts from corporate country to jambands to rap to whatever. I, as do most people, like this website because I do not have to filter through non0jamband stuff to find what I need to find..................just a little freaked out

Yeah she's real smart, she thinks that touring a lot is going to keep her of the bottle. Yeah playing at a bunch of bars and clubs that give you free booze is definitely the best way. But she's a fox, she can fall off the stage onto me anytime.

Jambase is like all the 24 hour news channels. They want to constantly put up new content, so sometimes they have to dip into crap nobody really should care about. I think this Winehouse girl could be our Anna Nicole Smith or Brittany Spears.

we dont need one of these on this scene. i think that what we have built here is a community that has seen enough 'hottie with too mucth makeup and tight pants' kind of stuff. if we wanted this we would not be on jambase.

but jambase gives it to us anyway. the scene is changin, and i think jambase is trying to keep up with the change. Just like the change in bonnaroo, they go where the money is.

The Rolling Stones want to work with Amy Winehouse
Mick Jagger wants to do a duet at Isle Of Wight

The Rolling Stones' frontman Mick Jagger has revealed that he wants to work with Amy Winehouse.

Jagger said that he would like the two to duet when they appear at the Isle Of Wight on Sunday June 10.

Winehouse is scheduled to play the event the day before.

Speaking about playing the festival, Jagger told Virgin Radio[/a]: "It's got a very good reputation as a festival, it's well run, people always say good things about it so it should be good."

Speaking about the band's last festival appearance at Knebworth Fair in August 1976, Jagger said: "It was fantastically late, great crowd though, great fun."
